Dear Parents, Guardians, Learners, and Esteemed Visitors, It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you to Bishop Mahiaini Academy, a Christian institution proudly owned and managed by the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Diocese of Mt. Kenya Central.
At Bishop Mahiaini Academy, we believe that education is a sacred ministry entrusted to us by God. It extends far beyond the acquisition of knowledge; it is about shaping character, nurturing faith, inspiring excellence, and preparing young people to become responsible, compassionate, and principled leaders in society. Since its establishment in 1988, our Academy has remained steadfast in its commitment to providing holistic education founded on Christian values. We strive to create a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment where every learner is respected, encouraged, and empowered to discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents. Through quality teaching, spiritual formation, and holistic development, we prepare our learners to thrive academically while cultivating integrity, discipline, resilience, and a lifelong love for learning.
As we embrace the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), our focus remains on developing learners who are creative, innovative, confident, and equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to navigate an ever-changing world. Guided by our school motto, “Setting the Pace,” we continue to pursue excellence in every aspect of school life while remaining faithful to our Christian calling.
I firmly believe that the success of every child is built upon a strong partnership between the school, parents, guardians, and the wider community.
